1,900 something miles later

I have landed at the Linns in Vail, CO. ‘Good to be off the road and experiencing the stillness of the morning.

On the way, I spent two nights with Liz and Jerry Emmer in Evergreen, CO, an introduction made by my friend Roz Southard. I was greeted by an elk standing in the drive way and a hug. That night a fox appeared at the window. Ah Colorado.

I did get a chance to spend time with Karambu Ringera from Kenya. My push to be here in April was to attend a fundraiser for International Peace Initiatives, but that got postponed until May and my only hope of connecting with Karambu was to drive her to Boulder and share conversation and breakfast. So there I was back tracking to Boulder where luckily my friend Carrie was house sitting and I was able to spend the night.

I will be here in Vail for several days hopefully with time to post some more pictures from Uganda and tell another story or two.
